Job Description

This position is responsible for sales of products/systems/services within the Motion Business, in line with local and global strategies.

You will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.

You will promote and sell VSD's (Variable Speed Drives), PLCs, Electric Motors, and systems as well as related products.

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with existing customers and develop new relationships with potential customers.

The work model for the role is hybrid, and ideally, you will be based in Christchurch covering the South Island territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and developing sales opportunities ensuring a strong opportunity pipeline.
  • Establishing and managing sales plans for your region & / or customer list focusing on sales growth.

Requirements

  • Experience in Front-End Sales roles in B2B organisations in the industrial sector.
  • Enhanced technical knowledge of industrial processes and applications.
  • Ability to innovate around selling VSD's (Variable Speed Drives), PLCs, Electric Motors, Generators, Power Quality Products, projects, and systems as well as related products.
  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English.
