About the Role

We are seeking a Key Account Manager for Foodstuffs South Island (FSSI) to join our Sales Team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, planning and executing promotional programs, forecasting, and TPM management. You will also build strong relationships at multi-levels within the FSSI business, negotiate deals, develop NPD and Big-Bet activation plans, and execute with the FSSI Field Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage key accounts for New World, Pak N Save, Four Square, and Trent's
  • Plan and execute promotional programs
  • Forecast and manage TPM
  • Build strong relationships at multi-levels within the FSSI business
  • Negotiate deals to deliver annual sales targets
  • Develop NPD and Big-Bet activation plans
  • Execute plans with the FSSI Field Team
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in FMCG industry preferably with experience in Field Sales, Category Management, or Key Accounts
  • Centralised buying & FS commercial negotiation experience highly advantageous
  • A commercially astute, analytical individual with experience in promotional modelling to drive sustainable growth
  • Field experience highly advantageous
  • Tertiary qualification or Bachelor's Degree in Business or similar
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, IRI (Unify), and Dunnhumby
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated strengths in presentation, negotiation, and influencing
  • Proven strength in prioritization and time management skills
