OverviewThe Asia-Pacific & Japan (APJ) Team is looking for a Channel Sales Leader to join our sales organization, reporting directly to our Vice President of APJ.
This will be a highly visible role requiring proven channel experience and a track record of execution.
The ideal candidate will understand and internalize the Quest vision, solution portfolio, product roadmap, and go-to-market activities and effectively communicate these to partner constituents.
This candidate will define, build, and lead our APJ Channel Strategy for the Quest portfolio.
The Channel Sales Leader will lead, mentor and drive a team of channel professionals across five regions including Australia/New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Japan, India and Korea.
The leader role will be based in Singapore or Malaysia.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities will include the following: Working with Regional Sales Leaders, develop and drive the Channel Strategy and APJ playbook developmentIntroduce, develop, and execute APJ Channel Strategy growth plans to support the hyper-growth of the Quest channel business, focusing on driving incremental Partner-led growth, Partner Recruitment, and ActivationCapable of leading, mentoring, and driving the channel professionals in the APJ region.Establish Partner Ecosystem expansion, growth, and sales strategies for prioritized segments and servicesCollaborate with strategic partner alliances in the region to drive engagement and growthProvide linkage to and collaborate with marketing and sales operations teams to support channel programs & operationsUtilize and provide competitive and market insights to shape the direction of the APJ channel to optimize revenue growthDrive Partner Transformation and engagement processWorking with sales operations, refining a meaningful and actionable metrics dashboard to measure results and drive adjustments as necessaryAct as a key interface with Global Partner Finance, Operations, and Programs to leverage corporate resources and best practices for the APJ region.Provide regional support for key partner constituents where local engagement is needed to promote the health of the channel.QualificationsStrong channel sales experience.
Must understand channel as a Go-to-Market strategy.Experience working in multiple areas of the APJ region.Experience leveraging channel operations and alignment with marketing to achieve positive partner experienceStrong leadership & people management skills; proven ability to develop key talentAbility to quickly adapt to a changing environment, flexible and open-mindedCreative thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to engage and present to executives both within Quest and with partnersStrong organizational and relationship-building skillsDemonstrated analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsCollaborates well with key internal and external stakeholdersDiagnose and resolve issues quicklyProactive team leader who advocates for his/her teamDemonstrated alignment with Quest's purpose, vision, and values.Must be available for travel (50%)Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience10+ years of experience in channel sales and sales managementKnowledge of channel industry practices, competitive products, and research dataAbility to work proactively in a fast-paced and matrixed work environmentCollaborative, broad cultural awareness with the ability to work across all geographiesResults driven, team playerCompany DescriptionAt Quest, we create and manage the software that makes the benefits of new technology real.
