Sales ExecutiveWe have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive in our US Sales team, based on the East Coast. The successful candidate in this key role will be responsible for identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities in the insurance sector, specifically with insurance and brokers requiring assistance and risk management products and services.Healix is a global leader in Travel Risk Management (TRM) and Medical, Security and Travel Assistance Services with a vast range of products and services. Healix is entrusted to look after the welfare of millions of expatriates, travellers and local nationals in every country of the world, 24 hours a day. Our clients include Business Travel Insurers, International Private Medical Insurers, Leisure Travel Insurers, multi-national corporations, governments, NGOs, universities, and the education sector.The main purpose of the Sales Executive's role is securing new business with a focus on lead generation and networking.The successful candidate will be a personable individual who will be able to demonstrate most of the following characteristics:AttitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills.Self-sufficient with a high level of organisational ability.Calm, diplomatic and self-aware.Confident and capable of presenting factual data to a wide audience.Adaptable to the audience with the ability to tailor presentation data and style to suit the audience/business sector.Motivation/AmbitionCommercially aware with proven success in winning new business in the Insurance sector and knowledge of the TRM and assistance market place.Good business and financial knowledge.The ability to work well both independently (remotely), whilst retaining communications and keeping colleagues updated on progress.Experience of working within a growing and developing business.Excellent PC skills with good knowledge of Microsoft packages.A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.The role attracts a competitive salary plus performance-based commission.Working for HealixAt Healix, our people are encouraged to do things in the best way, not just the way things have always been done. Typical activities will include but are not limited to:New Business DevelopmentTo develop new business opportunities and to meet the new Business Target as outlined in the individual Commission Plan and agreed annually.Responsibilities include:New Business Development:Identify new prospects to develop relationships and further business opportunities in your given sector.Face to Face Meetings:Research and build relationships with potential new clients, identify key stakeholders and decision makers, attend and host meetings/events and networking opportunities.Work with potential new leads/prospects to develop and cultivate relationships, using internal expertise and Healix Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to attend meetings as required.Quotes/Wins:Plan and prepare proposals and pitches, adapted to client requirements to ensure their objectives are met.Ensure that pricing and commercial negotiations sit fairly with existing business and internal requirements.Prepare Tender responses to opportunities along with support from Sales Support colleagues.Other KPIs of the role will include developing excellent product knowledge, performing Sales Administration duties, and collaborating with the wider Healix team.Account Development:To meet the budgeted Sales Plan for the account portfolio managed and to develop new business opportunities within those accounts.Responsibilities include all of the same criteria apply as for the New Business Development above and in addition:To maintain and nurture excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders at our existing accounts.To prepare for and host regular client meetings including Quarterly Business Reviews for our accounts.To manage client relationships while ensuring operational relationships are working well.Upsell and Cross Sell within the main account:To prepare proposals and pitches for new business opportunities within the existing accounts.To create opportunities to sell the Healix range of Supplementary Services as appropriate.Industry Focus - Marketing/Industry Networking Events/Promotional Opportunities:Network; attend relevant industry-related events, seminars, conferences, forums, and special interest groups.Market awareness; remain ahead of the market and competitors service capabilities to predict future requirements, business needs, and areas for internal research and development opportunities.Social Media; Support and promote the Healix social media activity seeking opportunities to promote the capabilities of Healix International and the wider Group.About the companyAll around the world, Healix safeguards people's health and wellbeing.Required CriteriaCommercially aware with proven success within the TRM and assistance sales/account management arena.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.At least 2 years' experience of selling services into the Insurance/Broker market.Desired CriteriaSkills you'll need
