Recognised and awarded on multiple occasions, BlackBull is considered one of APAC's fastest-growing fin-tech providers.The Company is looking for commercially focused, motivated people to join our growing team.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Operations Officer is responsible for assisting with day-to-day functions of the business, including, but not limited to: processing account applications; onboarding clients; generating client reports; and processing client requests.
The Operations Officer is also expected to support the Head of Operations with the effective and efficient running of BlackBull Markets' business.EDUCATIONA university degree or equivalent in business, management, commerce, finance, economics or such other relevant subject is preferable.EXPERIENCE1-2+ years in a corporate, commercial or financial services environment is preferable.SKILLSPractical knowledge of, and interest in, derivative issuers, the derivative issuer industry and derivative-related products and services.Ability to take instructions, learn concepts quickly and apply those concepts in a practical setting.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software products.Organised and task-oriented with an ability to deliver results.Strong attention to detail.Ability to multi-task, be flexible and prioritise workstreams.An ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.Client-focused with an ability to foster good relationships.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Basic understanding of financial markets law, including but not limited to the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering of Financing of Terrorism Act (and related regulations and materials).KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSet out below is a list of the key responsibilities of the Operations Officer.
This list is not exhaustive, and the Operations Officer may be required, from time to time, to undertake additional responsibilities that are reasonably within the scope of the role.OperationsUndertake the onboarding of clients in a manner consistent with internal policies, procedures and controls.Provide clients with ongoing support in relation to the operation of their trading accounts held with BlackBull Markets (excluding advice in relation to trading activity).Promptly respond to account verification enquiries and action requests appropriately.Assist with the maintenance of BlackBull Markets' CRM systems, online portals and trading platforms to ensure they are kept up-to-date and accurate.Assist the Head of Operations with the implementation of operations-related project plans.Provide assistance and support to the business as required by the Management Team.Benefits & PerksA rapidly growing team, with importance placed on culture and team building.Brand new high-rise office location in the heart of Auckland's CBD.Industry-specific training if interested to know more about the business.Multiple opportunities for training, growth, and personal and professional development.
