Together, we are committed to achieving extraordinary results.About the role:We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead and implement customer growth strategies that drive brand expansion and customer engagement across the Australian market.Based in Auckland, this role requires in-depth knowledge of the local consumer landscape, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends in both digital and traditional marketing.
The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the customer experience, sales, and product teams to align on objectives and ensure marketing initiatives are tailored to the unique needs of the Australian market.As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to travel regularly to Australia throughout the year.Key responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies.Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors.Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience.About you:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.Master's degree or professional certifications in marketing would be a plus.Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a marketing management role focused on the Australian market, ideally in financial services, insurance or travel industry.Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing is an advantage.Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and data analytics.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and adapt strategies as needed.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Creative thinking and a passion for marketing innovation.Prior experience in 'Direct to Consumer' business models with a strong digital focus.Experience using customer insights to inform marketing strategy and planning.There are lots of reasons you'd want to work with us:Here are just a few:Fully subsidised medical insurance for you and your immediate whanau.Subsidised pet and travel insurance and special discounts for your whanau.Additional parental leave benefits.Life & terminal illness insurance.Excellent work/life balance, including 5 days of wellbeing leave.Opportunity to purchase flexi leave.Flexible working options including work from home several days a week.Here at Southern Cross Travel Insurance, we recognise that people are as diverse as the places our customers travel to.
