We are growing fast, so now is the time to get on board and take your career to the next levelAbout the roleOur Marketing Manager is commencing parental leave in April, so we are looking for a fixed term contract for a period of up to 12 months.
This role could be based in either Auckland or Dunedin.
We're open to both full-time and part-time (4 days a week) applications.Reporting to the Parallo GM Market Strategy and Development, the Marketing Manager oversees all marketing initiatives, effectively communicating the value of our services to our target audience to drive demand and enhance brand visibility.This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, product marketing and hands-on delivery skills to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns.A sharp commercial acumen and an analytical mindset is required to track leads, pipeline and billed revenue to marketing initiatives to ensure each initiative delivers measurable ROI.While predominantly focused on the ANZ market, the role also delivers selected campaigns across the wider APAC region, including Malaysia and Singapore.What you'll be doingStrategy and Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to align with business objectives and KPIs.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform marketing initiatives.Content Creation: Develop compelling marketing content, including case studies, website copy, and blog posts, to effectively communicate our value proposition.Collaboration: Work closely with our sales and operations teams to align marketing efforts.Campaign Management: Implement marketing and communications programs for key stakeholders to drive insights and support marketing activities.Event Management: Organize events, personalized for key target audiences to generate leads and new opportunities with existing customers.Research and Reporting: Gather, analyze and act on qualitative data about customers.
Identify and assess how the marketing strategy and initiatives impact customer behavior.
Track sales pipeline back to marketing initiatives.
Report to SLT on marketing initiatives and ROI monthly.Tool Utilization: Utilize analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in ROI.Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and initiatives.What we're looking forMin 2 years in a senior/mid-senior B2B marketing role, preferably in a services industryProduct marketing experience preferred – preferably in a technical industryStrong analytical mindset, ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple sources into effective marketing strategiesFamiliar with cloud foundations – AWS and/or Azure certification preferredPrevious experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similarPrevious experience with CRM tooling.
Hubspot or Dynamics 365 preferredDemonstrated ability to independently drive marketing initiatives and establish marketing functionsExperience with marketing automation preferredPreferred but not essential: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related fieldExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levelsAbility to think strategically and proactively identify ways to drive mutual valueExcellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbalProven ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environmentWhat we offerAccelerate your career by working with the most innovative and fastest-growing companies, harnessing the power of cutting-edge cloud technologyHybrid working – work from home up to 3 days per week.
