About the role

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Marketing Manager to take on this pivotal role within our marketing team.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clear strategies for the Tegel brand and sub-brands, to drive brand equity and market share. You will lead all consumer engagement initiatives such as innovation, TTL campaigns, digital presence, and portfolio management.

As a key contributor to the development of Tegel's brand communications, you will play a vital role in ensuring our brand equity metrics are achieved. Additionally, your efforts will directly support the accomplishment of financial goals and market share growth objectives.

Key focus areas

  1. Develop and implement overall brand, marketing, and communication strategies.
  2. Continuous management of product portfolio to meet consumer needs and enhance Tegel's position as NZ's leading poultry brand.
  3. Manage the marketing budget, including maximizing ROI on all activities and identifying inefficient spend.
  4. Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer trends, monitoring competitor and other market activities and defining opportunities relevant to the brand and market.
  5. Gain support for key initiatives from both Internal and External stakeholders.
  6. Lead and develop direct reports.

What will you bring?

  1. Business degree - preferably with a major in marketing
  2. 5 years FMCG marketing experience with strong category management
  3. Commercial approach to category development.
  4. Competent in development and analysis of IRI, Neilsen, Quantium & Dunhumby reports will be advantageous.
