Every day is a chance to learn something new and turn vacation inspiration into exceptional experiences for millions of travelers worldwide.Go Where Results Are RealityBy joining our Wanaka-based team as the Sales Director, you will be responsible for achieving defined sales targets through proactive support and management of the sales team.
You will also be responsible for supporting the Project Director with staff recruitment, development and site financial management.Duties include but are not limited to:Deliver the required sales targets for the site by supporting and motivating staff to achieve performance goals.Assist in providing appropriate training, education and performance monitoring for sales team.Support marketing programs and educate sales staff on the marketing strategies.Follow and represent the Company in an ethical, moral and professional manner with adherence to industry and Company best practices.Actively participate in management duties, training sessions and sales meetings and provide on-site support to sales employees.Show integrity in all aspects of the position by doing the right thing, taking responsibility and delivering on the promise.Display leadership values by ensuring effective communication and respecting your peers and managers; support others within the team and empower each other wherever possible.What You'll Bring:To be considered for this great opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following:Have a passion for sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience.Exposure to Call Centre environments.Previous experience in Timeshare/Vacation ownership sales is desired.Be driven, self-motivated and results-focused.Sound problem-solving and negotiating skills.Ability to recognize financial trends and their application to the business.Be flexible to work the operational hours of the site, including evenings and weekends.How You'll Be Rewarded:Discounted Hotel & Resort stays globally.Subsidised Private Health insurance.Professional development funding.Full time employment.40 hours per week.Salary $80,000 + incentives.Where Memories Start with YouHospitality is at the heart of all we do at Travel + Leisure Co.
