**YOUR ROLE**

We have an exciting opportunity for a
**Team Leader Customer Engagement Centre (State Insurance)** to join the Customer Engagement Centre team where you’ll provide leadership, coaching and development to your team to drive customer, risk, and financial performance of your team.

You’ll create a culture within your team where diversity is celebrated, people are proud and confident, risks are raised, and your people enjoy coming into work. You’ll coach team members to deliver results and help them grow along a career pathway. You’ll be your team’s change champion, leading change messages, weekly communications and enabling your people to be change resilient.

**This position is being offered as Permanent Full-time. We work flexibly with a mix of work from home and from the office twice a week (ideally in Auckland, Sylvia Park office).**

**ABOUT YOU**

You’ll have proven experience leading a team and strong communication skills which will enable you to get people on board to successfully build and manage relationships. You’ll also demonstrate:

- Leadership experience, with the ability to provide leadership and direction to staff, and to motivate and develop them.
- You have relevant industry or specialism qualifications e.g., ANZIIF, Lean 6 Sigma.
- Ideally, have experience in the insurance or finance industry.
- Experience in managing, leading, and supporting staff through change.
- Experience in team leadership in a sales environment.
- Exceptional leadership skills (including leading remotely) to support staff, proactively promote wellness within the team.
- Ability to provide leadership and direction to staff and to motivate and develop them to foster a constructive 'can do' & customer focused culture.
