We have an opportunity for an experienced Asset Specialist to become a key member of our Test Team based in Auckland.**The role**
Reporting to the Fleet and Assets Operations Manager, this office-based new role will see you supporting the efforts of the Test Technicians in Northpower Contracting business. You will liaise with our Depots and staff to ensure the testing and compliance function delivers an effective solution. You will also:
- Provide support in relation to testing and compliance of the test equipment
- Generate compliance testing reports for the Northpower Depots
- Provide administrative support to the Test Team - book travel, timesheet processing, assist with planning and scheduling, purchase items as required

**About you**
You’ll have proven experience in business support administration and customer services and have previously worked in a similar role and/or industry. You will enjoy working and communicating with various personalities,have a strong customer focus and be confident, calm, mature and professional during stakeholder interactions. You’ll be able to demonstrate:
- High Attention to detail with a strong aptitude for accuracy to write reports and look up indexes
- Exceptional organisational and relationship building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an advanced level in MS Excel & Outlook
- A “can-do attitude” to adapt to new changes with an enthusiasm to learn new systems quickly
- Knowledge and experience in JD Edwards and Q-Pluse will be highly advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels
- Enjoy working in a busy team environment, yet able to work self-directed
- A solid understanding of health and safety principles and practices pertaining to the equipment/PPE gear testing environment would be advantageous
- Tenacity in taking problems through to successful outcomes despite potential barriers
