The Downer Social Infrastructure team provides comprehensive, nationwide specialist services in asset and facilities management.
As the Asset Assessor, you will report on the asset verification of the building assets, condition assessment of the asset components and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the asset data is to the highest standard.
The role provides site verification of assets to all contract operations in their network, ensuring delivery of contract requirements, optimizing resource use and achieving target returns. It will also provide support to the Contract Team and Asset Custodian & Management teams whilst ensuring that all work is completed to the satisfaction of our customers and all targets (safety, quality and productivity) are met.
**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
We are looking for an exceptional analyst and a true team player who oozes enthusiasm for their chosen field, has a great eye for detail and good communication/people skills. You will be able to identify and condition rate a wide range of typical building related fabric and services. Along with the ability to use a range of software tools in order to create, or update the master asset register and lifecycle modelling platform, you will also bring with you;
- Previous construction, architectural or building services experience.
- Excellent time & work management/prioritisation skills
- You are a tech-savvy person, and your communication & people skills are second-to-none
- Drone piloting experience would be beneficial but not essential as we will teach you the skills to be able to do this
- Ability to travel around the country
- Full, clean NZ drivers licence
