**The Opportunity**
The new and exciting opportunity of National Key Account Manager has been created to ensure the continued growth within our sales team by achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and market penetration by servicing and developing our key account customers nationwide. You will be the first point of contact selling our popular and industry leading Hitachi, Bell and McCloskey products and services by providing total solutions options to our customers that add benefit and value that ensures we are one of the preferred suppliers to all the big players in the industry.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with high personal standards and integrity. You will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service which will enable you to consistently follow through on promises and exceed the expectations of customers. This exciting high profile position can be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.
**You will have**:
- Proven experience in a similar level relationship building and sales role in a relevant product and/or industry
- Vast experience in business development and securing new business
- Experience in putting together tender documentation/proposals for large entities
- The ability to be part of and support the wider regional sales team
- Confidence in dealing with large customers and corporate entities
- Existing contacts in and around the industry will be a huge advantage
- An understanding of contract or procurement negotiations
- Drive and initiative and you thrive under pressure
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel nationally regularly basis
- Be computer literate
