Structure and develop business relationships with key accounts.

Participate in and lead annual terms of trade negotiations with key customers.

Manage and lead all tender processes.

Ensure structure of relationships supports strategic and financial goals of the company.

Look for opportunities to develop and grow share of wallet with key brands.

Lead and implement all key account strategy.

Conduct six monthly reviews with all key accounts, covering such areas as promotional programs, competitor activity, product ranging and pricing. Utilize business reporting and analysis to ensure the best possible ROI on key account.

Liaise with marketing on campaigns and ROI on key account activities.

Ensure smooth continuation of day to day business with the key accounts and resolution of any issues with their Regional Managers.

Ensure all Regional Managers are implementing UPL National Account strategy according to plan.

Develop National Account marketing calendar that aligns to the national marketing calendar.

Execute marketing calendar in line with customer marketing budget.

Provide feedback to internal business on requirements across all departments ie RM’s, Marketing, R&D, Reg, Supply Chain, etc
