The Administration Services team is a multi-skilled team providing a broad range of business support functions to the Tamaki Makaurau Region of Oranga Tamariki, Ministry for Children.
Reporting to the Manager, Administration Services, this role is one of 8 administrators with shared responsibility for the group's functions with a special focus on payroll responsibilities.
Trouble shooting and the ability to think of changes and their wider impacts would be an advantage along with the ability to think of new creative ways of working. This is an opportunity to ensure the changes offer improvements and efficiencies in the payroll space.
Collectively the team has responsibility for travel, FBT, fleet management, student placements, caregiver debts, child support, casual workers bureau, timesheet processing, site support, CYRAS queue requests and more.

Preference is given to those who have skills in the following areas;
- Advanced level of computer competency
- Experience in providing a high level of support across many stakeholders
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- The agility and adaptability to work on different pieces of work in conjunction with the other members of the team.
- A full drivers license
