Playcentre Aotearoa are looking for an admin superstar with superb organisational and data management skills.

As a Regional Funding Administrator, you will be joining a team that supports a network of Playcentres to maximize funding, ensure compliance, manage enrolments, and complete administration in relation to discretionary situations, emergency closures and amendments to licenses.

Days and Hours:

This permanent position is based at our Upper North Island regional office in Henderson, Auckland. The role offers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 3.00pm (flexible), starting on 28 April 2025.

Desirable skills and experience will include:
  • Excellent relationship management skills – proven ability to interact effectively and confidently with a range of stakeholders
  • Previous administration and data analysis experience
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Experience and confidence when working with Microsoft Office suite, as well as SMS, namely Discover
  • An understanding of te ao Māori, including an appreciation of matauranga Māori, tikanga Māori and te reo Māori.
  • Proactive mindset and a good sense of humour.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail as well as the ability to see the whole picture
  • Flexibility and the ability to deal with issues as they arise
  • Sound judgement, a great work ethic and ability to work independently
