Regional Coordinator – Northern Region, NZ National Party.
Based in Greenlane, Auckland.
Primarily administration with a mix of communications, engagement, and some event coordination.
Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week.
The National Party is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive person to support the Party's Northern region as our Northern Regional Coordinator.This role is pivotal to National's regional operations.
In this busy, hands-on role, you will be in the center of the action, taking the lead on general administration and organisation, regional engagement with members and voters, communications, stakeholder management, and election preparedness.Key Duties:Work with regional and electorate leaders to achieve annual objectives.Work proactively and collaboratively on a wide range of administrative requirements, activities, and events.Manage communication between Party members, volunteers, MPs, and other stakeholders.About You: To be successful in this role, you will be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
You'll have a positive 'can do' attitude.
You'll have excellent administrative skills with top-notch organisational abilities and a strong customer focus to match.
You will always deliver to a high standard and meet all deadlines.Experience working within volunteer or membership-based organisations will put you in good stead.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be flexible with your hours, including some evening meetings and weekend events.Additionally, you will bring a good understanding of the New Zealand political landscape and a natural ability to communicate with people from all walks of life.
A good understanding of National Party rules, processes, and customs would be an advantage.
