We are seeking a permanent casual laboratory phlebotomist to join our team. The hours of work are predominantly morning shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Phlebotomy staff are the face of the pathology service, providing a vital link between the diagnostic laboratory and the public. Phlebotomists are responsible for taking blood and other samples from patients for analysis, and maintaining quality standards while ensuring all patients are treated with dignity and respect.

**Mōu | About you**

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

- You will be working as part of a busy team within the laboratory and hospital environment.
- Important attributes include attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- As you are in regular contact with the public, a high level of interpersonal skills is required.
- An interest in science and previous Phlebotomy experience (current QMLT) is preferred.
- If a QMLT is not held, you will be expected to work towards obtaining the appropriate QMLT qualification.
