Occupational Regulation is a cross-sector team responsible for several different occupational licensing and registration schemes, which currently includes Electrical Workers, Licensed Building Practitioners, Immigration Advisers, Motor Vehicle Traders, Auctioneers and Pool Inspectors. Over
time other licensing/registration schemes might come into or out of Occupational Regulation.

We’re currently looking for a Registration and Licensing Officer to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the Registration and Licensing Team on all Electrical Worker and Licensed Building Practitioner licensing matters, complaints and appeals, co-ordination of electrical workers examinations, assisting with special projects and other administrative activities as required to support the business.

- A strong level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and experience databases e.g. CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
- Ability to communicate information clearly, both orally (including by telephone) and written, in a manner and style appropriate to the intended audience
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines under changing conditions
- Proven ability to use initiative, sound judgement, and discretion
- Proven experience in influencing and delivering outstanding quality service to stakeholders
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and manage sensitive information
