We are looking for kiritaki (customer) obsessed experienced **Relationship Managers** to join our newly established Wealth & Third-Party Insurance Partnerships tīma (team). They will be responsible for ensuring that BNZ meets its commitments to FirstCape under a range of commercial agreements, overseeing service delivery across several business units within BNZ, and ensure that FirstCape's products match BNZ kiritaki needs as well as overall BNZ strategy and drive towards BNZ's desired conduct & commercial outcomes.

We spoke with our Executive Manager - CP&S, and he let us know the following about the tūranga (role):
**What are some of the key responsibilities the tūranga?**
- Build strong relationships with FirstCape group stakeholders, ensuring that FirstCape's delivery of services under various agreements meets the required standard.
- Build strong relationships within BNZ to ensure that BNZ's delivery of services in respect of wealth products is aligned with good kiritaki outcomes and contractual commitments.
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders such as Partnership banking and operations to ensure our Wealth products are meeting kiritaki needs.
- Working with the delivering business units and risk tīma to ensure continuous improvement of our service delivery processes while improving the design of the overall risk management structure and delivery of these products.

**What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?**

Wealth & Insurance Partnerships is a newly formed tīma here at BNZ so you will play a critical part in enabling BNZ's Wealth growth strategy. You'll have an opportunity to drive the development and transformation of BNZ's Wealth proposition that support our kiritaki and colleagues.

**What attributes will this person display to be successful in this tūranga?**

To be successful in this tūranga, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, be an experienced decision maker and have a natural ability in influencing stakeholders.
- 7+ years' experience in the NZ financial services industry within wealth, ideally with experience in a wealth division of a New Zealand bank.
- Strong business acumen, ability to justify expenditures by identifying cost, benefits, ROI, opportunities, and risks.
- Strategic thinking with demonstrated ability to anticipate market developments and create competitive advantage.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
