Working alongside Partners, Associate Partners and other Client Executives, you will be providing high-quality communication counsel and support to clients as well as producing tactical communications products and reports. The ability to establish and foster strong working relationships with clients in the support and development of effective client strategy is crucial. As is your ability to work both independently and as part larger multidisciplinary and interoffice projects.

Key responsibilties:

- Support the sucessful delivery of SenateSHJ projects
- Provide high-quality communications support to clients for tactical activities with a focus on the government relations and public sector practice areas
- Manage varied tasks that deliver tactical input for client projects in a consulting enviroment
- Complete tasks and inputs for internal activites as directed
- Build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues in the SenateSHJ group

Key requirements:

- Curiosity for the world around you and its impact on your clients
- Previous experience working with the machinery of government - in the public sector, a private sector government relations role, and/or Parliament
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor your communication style to clients’ tone of voice and diverse audiences
- Proven relationship building skills with the nous to provide strategic insight and build trust with clients
- Demonstrated problem-solving and strategy development capabilities
- Strong understanding of the machinery of government and ministerial processes
