**About the Role**:
As a Telephone Sales Representative at Genesis you will play a critical role in retaining residential customers for electricity, natural gas and LPG. Your day will be a mix of research, engaging customer conversations, cross-selling, upselling and administrative follow-up.

You will be based in our Auckland office which is brand new and open plan. Our hours are 8am-7pm Monday-Friday. Once fixed, your roster will stay the same week-to-week.
- Develop new relationships with customers in order to increase revenue, build loyalty and reduce churn by achieving (and exceeding) your targets
- Meet hourly, daily, weekly and monthly targets and KPIs - and be rewarded accordingly
- Work with leaders to gather and build competitor and market knowledge base
- Deliver excellent customer service on each call by building your understanding of core business information

**About you**:
We are looking for people who can clearly communicate with customers from all walks of life and who have the confidence and resilience to just keep picking up the phone.
- Previous sales experience - retail, outbound, or inbound preferred but you should feel confident achieving and exceeding KPIs and targets
- Exceptional customer service and telephone manner
- A can-do attitude, great communication skills, and a willingness to support your team
- Resilience and energy to make a high volume of calls daily while striving to meet and exceed your own best days
