We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to grow their sales careers and potentially step into a leadership role, with excellent communication skills, for a full-time Sales Representative position at our Auckland head office.

**Job description**

In this role, you will be responsible for all duties associated with the day-to-day sales and marketing for the company’s products, including but not limited to;
- Planning, developing and executing sales and marketing strategies in the designated location and area to create demand and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Visiting key and potential customers to establish selling opportunities and maintain business relationships.
- Managing and running our EC site (online shop), ensuring seamless website operations and a seamless customer experience.
- Developing strategic sales plans for Asian (especially Chinese) customers to conduct competitor analysis and identify new market opportunities to optimise the customer journey while capturing maximum local demand.
- Understanding the local language (e.g., Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc) on product packaging and creating English promotional flyers and leaflets for imported products.

Full-time permanent employee

**Compensation**

$29.66 - $32.00 per hour

Plus, annual bonus depending on annual personal as well as organisational business performances

**Minimum guaranteed hours of work**

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 17:00

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a sales representative or similar role in sales.
- Fluency in Japanese or Chinese is preferred, but not essential or mandatory, as the role involves reading and understanding Japanese packages and dealing with Chinese-speaking customers.
- Extensive experience using ERP (e.g., NetSuite) in sales and logistics operations is a big advantage.
- NZ full driver’s licence or appropriate overseas licence.
- A physically fit person with heavy (25kg+) lifting and carrying involved.
- Well-developed communication and listening skills.
- Be computer literate (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Basic knowledge of Japanese food and business practices is advantageous as most of the products are sourced from Japan, but not essential.
- Having an in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage supply chain logistics of both cross-border as well as domestic trading is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
