The team at Cabtec is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. Your strategic thinking, impeccable communication skills, and customer-centric approach will be instrumental in driving their company's success.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify and engage with potential clients to expand our customer base.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.
- Create and execute effective sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with company objectives.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to track performance and provide insights.
- Stay updated with industry developments and continually enhance your knowledge and skills through professional development activities.
- Travel locally around Auckland and weekly to Maungaturoto head office.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or Sales Manager, preferably in the Construction and Building industries, and experience in the joinery trade.
- Built established network and industry contacts.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
