Programme Coordinator - Kotahitanga

Te Pae Tawhiti - Our Future is about the Ministry of Social Development's (MSD) future role and how we can make a bigger and better difference for New Zealanders. Te Pae Tawhiti transformation programme is a multi-year journey that will deliver services that are easier, more accessible, and better integrated across MSD.
Te Pae Tawhiti will also accelerate MSD's embedding of a relational approach to commissioning, which will help us work in a more consistent and fairer way with all our partners throughout Aotearoa. This is the focus of the Kotahitanga service change, which reflects that we are stronger when working together with whānau, hapū, iwi, providers, communities, and other government agencies. Te Tiriti o Waitangi is a tūāpapa (foundation) for all the work we do.
Te āhua o te tūranga / About the role
As a Programme Coordinator for the Kotahitanga team, you'll manage crucial administrative and project tasks. This encompasses efficient delivery planning, maintaining the Te Pae Tawhiti Control Book, and assisting in quality assurance for project documentation. Working closely with the Director and Delivery Lead, you'll help coordinate resources, while also providing governance support. This role is crucial in enabling our team to concentrate on the critical components of the work programme. Collaboration with all members of the team (and other key stakeholders) will be integral to your role, providing the necessary guidance to enhance our team's delivery.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako / Skills and experience
- Proven experience in a programme or project coordination role preferable
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with excellent self-management capabilities
- Outstanding documentation skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively
- Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to champion a Te Ao Māori perspective, supporting the inclusion of Te Ao Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in all work
- Proven track record in managing both internal and external relationships effectively
- Strong working knowledge and proficiency in using office software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, as well as MS Teams

Position Description

**Salary range**: $66,660.00 - $80,585.00
