**Your opportunity**
We have a fantastic opportunity available at Westfield Newmarket for an Administration Assistant. You'll need accounts payable experience with a high level of accuracy and great attention to detail. Our ideal person will have experience with high volumes of data entry and administrative support in a commercial environment to provide support to the Admin Manager and Centre Management team. The role is a permanent position with full-time hours and will be based at our premier Newmarket centre.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and maintain staff carpark administration.
- Daily reconciliation of float, gift card sales, and cash banking.
- Manage supplier masterfile, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and ensure accurate, timely entry for payment approval.
- Process monthly recharges (utilities, legal fees, etc.) by liaising with various Customer Experience departments.
- Monthly and annual collection and entry of retailer sales figures.
- Ensure compliance and audit readiness for retail partner’s insurance cover.
- Support Admin Manager and centre management team with ad hoc accounts receivable tasks for smooth daily operations.
- Process car park refunds and manage Community Desk bookings.
- Manage new team member setup (lanyards, name tags, office supplies) as well as supplies for our kitchen.
- Coordinate courier services
**What will set you apart from the rest?**
- 2 - 4 years’ experience in an accounts payable/finance/accounts receivables role.
- Strong administration and computer literacy skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Experience in JD Edwards is advantageous.
- An ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
