**About the role**

The Helpdesk Analyst works with people throughout the business and Nova Energy customers to deliver a full suite of support functions. This is through direct customer communication, supporting colleagues, creating, and refining troubleshooting processes and techniques, and documenting successful processes and fixes for subsequent reuse.

**Other key tasks**:

- Working with customers to test fixes by analysing and administering resolutions.
- Providing critical after-hours technical support to our customers

This is a permanent full-time rostered role (min 40 hours per week) Monday - Friday with additional on-call responsibilities which you will be compensated for. This role is based in Wellington.

**About You**

This is role for someone who has an optimistic attitude and like to focus on solutions and process improvement and enjoys the technical aspect of fault finding and providing prompt & effective customer service.

**Other requirements**
- Relevant qualification within IT field, preferably in Telecommunications Internet Network Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems and/or Computer Engineering.
- Min 4 years’ experience working in the Telecommunications industry
- Previous experience in a Helpdesk or Analyst role
- Self-motivated and driven to keep learning & developing
- Ability to be able to work ‘on call’ when rostered after hours

**The Team**

Our Helpdesk team consists of 4 Helpdesk Analysts and falls within our Telecommunications Service Delivery Team.

We work hard together to achieve the best outcomes for our customers; but we also value a good laugh We have a weekly morning tea shout each week, along with regular office events. We’re not just looking for someone who has the exceptional customer service & technical skills needed to do the job, but a colleague with a can-do attitude who wants to continue to grow & develop within the fast-paced telco space.

**What We Can Offer You**
- Salary between $64,000 - $74,000 annually depending on experience +on call allowance
