Adviser, Portfolio ManagementTe tūranga - The roleIn this key role you will provide sound technical knowledge and leadership of all team operations across the foreign reserves and domestic market portfolios and you will lead the day to day implementation of portfolio objectives. As a senior member of the team you will support the Manager by, providing thought leadership across the team and department and training, coaching and mentoring others in order to support their ongoing ambitions.You will play a key role in engaging with stakeholders and representing the team with integrity and will be relied upon to resolve issues as they arise in order to achieve great outcomes for Te Pūtea Matua.Ō pūkenga - About youYou're passionate about the contribution you can make to New Zealand's economic wellbeing, you have a strong blend of people and technical leadership, and with your collaborative and engaging approach you are able to guide and mentor others to achieve success. You'll bring to the role:

- Substantial experience and a thorough in-depth understanding of financial markets and institutions
- Extensive practical experience with sound analytical judgement
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence
- A collaborative approach and the desire to work across a complex organisation at senior levels.
