We have an exciting Principal Portfolio Adviser opportunity to support the Services & Strategy Portfolio Management Office Team within Strategy & Corporate Services (SCS) group. The purpose of the Services & Strategy Portfolio is to:

- Set the direction for evolving Corrections' system for delivering services to the people in our care; and
- Govern the design, testing, piloting, and implementation of changes to Corrections' service delivery.

The role will involve providing practice leadership on the P3M framework and providing advice and support to specific projects and programmes within the Services and Strategy Portfolio. It is an opportunity to develop and maintain positive relationships with a variety of project, programme and portfolio practitioners while maintaining a strategic, horizontal view across the entire enterprise.

**To be successful in this role you ideally will have**:

- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to effectively engage with and influence positive change with stakeholders, partners and governance groups.
- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgement, assertiveness.
- An understanding of complex organisations, people change and transformation environments.
- Practical experience working within large scale, multi-year projects/programmes with significant experience.
- Extensive experience of working in both the project and change management disciplines and able to provide examples of where you have applied your knowledge of best practice methodologies, principles, frameworks and processes of successful project and change management.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The mid-point of the salary range is $137,525 and the full range (85%-120%) is $116,897 - $165,030. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
