Finance and Office Administrator

**Company Description**
Our client, the Student Residence Trust Aotearoa, trading as Hatch Student Living, is a “for purpose” organisation, providing accommodation to Wintec students at the Student Village, Wintec Apartments and the Rotokauri Eco Village.
Reporting to the General Manager, in this role you will be responsible for financial processing as well as managing the end to end student accommodation enrolment process. Financial responsibilities include invoicing; accounts payable and receivable; bank reconciliations; statutory returns and processing payroll. You’ll provide reports for the GM and the Board and work closely with the auditors to support the annual audit.
**Qualifications**
The successful person we are looking for will have:
- Solid administration and accounts experience
- Excellent knowledge of administration systems including Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher
- Good experience working with Xero, electronic document audit trails and financial reporting
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles including trial balance and accruals (accounting qualification preferable)
- Solid organisational skills including time management
- An ability to understand, empathise and relate to students of all ages and cultures
