Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Role
A newly created position, to provide advice and support to ensure that our internal and external communications channels align with our equity policy, Te Tiriti accountabilities and relevant hauora legislation.
The role sits within our public affairs and government services team and is part of the Equity and Engagement Directorate.

- Excellent knowledge of biculturalism, Te Aō Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Strong understanding of proactive communications planning and communications tools.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- An ability to establish and build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

Joining Te Pātaka Whaioranga | Pharmac
We are a whānau centered organisation and understand the importance of maintaining a healthy work life balance. To support our kaimahi and their whānau we offer:
- Five weeks annual leave
- Additional paid leave for our end of year close-down period

At Te Pātaka Whaioranga we welcome all kaimahi with a mihi whakatau during their first month. As you come through our waharoa, you will be welcomed into our growing support network - Maōri Caucus.
