The Senior Relationship Manager has a primary responsibility to grow their portfolio by establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with brokers in the New Zealand market and supporting them with distribution of personal loans.

Focused on identifying growth opportunities, making first contact, generating interest, and extracting growth from existing partners.

key responsibilities
- Develop an effective strategy for Identifying, developing, evaluating, and pursuing leads and opportunities to maintain a continuing pipeline of current and future prospects
- Build and strengthen new and existing relationships with brokers who distribute personal and motor loans.
- Deliver presentations to third parties highlighting our products and capabilities.
- Support training and accreditation of new brokers to ensure they are onboarded correctly and compliantly.
- Commit to business goals/targets, driving results through collaboration and problem solving with our sales and support teams.

Let’s talk about you

We are counting on you to accelerate the success we are achieving, so somethings are essential:

- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the finance or broker industry.
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and expanding operations in a new market.
- Extensive knowledge of the New Zealand market and its cultural and economic landscape.
- Understanding of consumer finance, specifically personal loans, and asset finance in the New Zealand market
- Knowledge of credit underwriting practices in a fast-paced lending environment.
- Demonstrated success in new business sales in a fast-paced environment, consistently achieving targets and deadlines - Both individually and as a team player.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to build long-lasting, positive relationships with brokers and dealers. You’re a face-to-face communicator
