**Senior Guest Services Attendant**

Our Guest Services team look after the Front Office, Activities, Museum, Theatre, and Retail experience for our guests. At the heart of our service, your ability to build rapport with our guests and share your knowledge and passion for the local surrounding area is the key to success. The Senior Guest Service Attendant is a multi-skilled role with the ability to work across all the areas providing support to the business where needed.

**What you will be doing**
- Upselling services & activities, to ensure guest satisfaction and maximise revenue opportunities.
- Greet and interact with all customers and provide assistance as required,
- Check-in guests for activities such as Glacier Explorers, Guided Walks and Stargazing.
- Maintain the visual standards of the Alpine centre and represent the image of the hotel.
- Providing cover to hotel reception when required.
- Ensuring that all security procedures are followed in relation to cash, keys, guest security and privacy.
- Handling requests and complaints, taking up the responsibility as a senior.
- Jumping feet first into the day and helping wherever is needed.
- Building effective and professional relationships with suppliers
- Ensure the retail department is well presented and provides a welcoming environment for customers.
- Actively aid retail customers to assist them with their purchase decisions.
- Assist with the processing of stock deliveries and shop floor replenishment.

**What you will bring to the role**
- Previous experience in a customer facing position within retail or hospitality industry.
- Hotel Front Desk and Guest Service experience.
- Experience with hotel and tourism related booking systems.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and remain composed under pressure.
- Work to a high standard, accurate and organised, while working work well within a team.

**The benefits**
- Full time, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Pay rate salary in the range of $61,000 - $68,000 per annum
