**Housekeeping Supervisor**
The Housekeeping Supervisor works closely with the Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department including staff accommodation. In this role you will need to support the team to maintain a consistent standard of cleanliness across our hotel accommodation, Mt Cook Lodge, Motels, and staff accommodations around the village. Experience in housekeeping environment is required along with the driving license.
We provide training to ensure you are kept up to speed with our products, services, standards, and expectations. You should be flexible and adaptable and have a positive and willing attitude.
At the heart of our service is your excellent attention to detail and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. With highly developed communications and people management skills you will build rapport with our staff to deliver exceptional service levels and to keep the team happy and motivated.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager in daily allocation of Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants and Laundry Attendants, taking a hands-on role in assisting with the daily workload as necessary.
- Conducting thorough and detailed inspections of all vacant clean guest accommodation rooms prior to the arrival of incoming guests, ensuring all product specifications and standards have been met.
- Resetting staff accommodation rooms, ensuring rooms are fit for use.
- Ensure effective communication with Front Office in relation to room changes, arrivals & departures, mini bar, laundry, and room item charges.
- Ensure effective communication with HR team in relation to staff arrivals and departures, as well as any other staff accommodations.
- Resolving guest complaints to the guest’s satisfaction within your level of authority

**Further Information**
- This is a full time position, minimum 30 hours per week
- Pay range is $28.18 to $31.50.
