Our Sector Digital Channels team is the driving force behind change in our nationally enabled services. We're on a mission to create cost-effective and sustainable digital solutions that revolutionize accessibility. From user-friendly digital self-service options to seamless integration and automation, we're here to make life easier for the workforce.

We take pride in managing, delivering, and providing unwavering support for all our national external services. From Te Whatu Ora to Te Aka Whai Ora and Manatū Hauora, we've got our fingers on the pulse of it all. Plus, we're the champions of developing APIs that foster interconnectedness across systems used by external parties. It's like creating a symphony of seamless integration with the National Immunisation Register and Health Practitioner Index. Together, we're making a real impact.

**Mōu | About you***

As our Integration Delivery Lead, you will be an important part of the Integration Development and Operations team within Data and Digital. Together, we have the collective accountability sharing a design intelligence that builds common ground and understanding for all of Te Whatu Ora.

With your knowledge and leadership, you will be responsible for the design, delivery, and management of our integration platforms and support capabilities. Your focus will be on improving service experience, efficiency, and sustainability, all in line with our strategic priorities. This is crucial in unlocking the value and potential of our integration capability.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A tertiary qualification in technology (Bsci, BTech etc) or equivalent work experience.
- Seasoned experience leading integration teams within a large and complex organisation.
- An excellent understanding of technical best practice relating to API design, delivery and management.
- Experience managing integration platforms, services and configuration ideally on AWS and Mulesoft/Cloudhub. Strong communication skills with the confidence and ability to present and defend decisions in a manner appropriate to the needs of the audience.
- Broad and deep knowledge and technical expertise of product integration, and API programming.
- Software development experience in web services and APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud development, SaaS, and PaaS principles in system-to-system design and integration.
- Previous experience of customer and change management and implementation in a complex organisation.
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively at all levels across a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- A demonstrated commitment to the provision of quality services and delivery of results.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and manage a work programme, prioritise work, manage risk, follow through on tasks to their successful conclusion and to meet deadlines.
- Experience in influencing people and leading the successful delivery of work programmes.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships/networks internally and externally.
- Able to negotiate with and influence senior leaders and decision makers.
- Proven experience in the development of detailed documentation including business cases and plans.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight timeframes and manage competing priorities while remaining resilient under pressure.
- Experience working in the healthcare sector and Government is desired.
