We're on a mission to create cost-effective and sustainable digital solutions that revolutionize accessibility. From user-friendly digital self-service options to seamless integration and automation, we're here to make life easier for the workforce.
We take pride in managing, delivering, and providing unwavering support for all our national external services. From Te Whatu Ora to Te Aka Whai Ora and Manatū Hauora, we've got our fingers on the pulse of it all. Plus, we're the champions of developing APIs that foster interconnectedness across systems used by external parties. It's like creating a symphony of seamless integration with the National Immunisation Register and Health Practitioner Index. Together, we're making a real impact.
We are looking for 5 Product Managers to work in various areas of the business.
**Mōu | About you**
As a Product Manager, you are the driving force behind maintaining and enhancing technology services that are revolutionizing the health sector.
Your expertise will be pivotal in working between the business and technology teams to establish, evolve and drive value from the products created and supported by Sector Digital Channels. You will operate at a delivery and thought leadership level, leading a team of Product Owners and others to deliver products that help achieve our Te Whatu Ora outcomes. You will be fundamental to our success in delivering future digital innovation through the Sector Digital Channels shift to a product-centric organization.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Seasoned experience in a similar role in a large complex organisation working with both internal and external stakeholders and leading team.
- Experience working in an Agile product delivery framework.
- Significant experience developing product roadmaps.
- An appreciation of the technical landscape, ability to support the shaping of solutions with the ability to articulate this in a language that is reflective of the audience.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage teams in an environment of change, financial prudence and an increasing level of digital maturity across the organisation.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to lead others effectively to achieve successful organisational outcomes.
- Proven relationship building skills and well-developed communication skills.
- Proven ability in managing suppliers and vendors.
- Demonstrated intuition and the ability to balance good process with the need to make clear decisions in demanding situations such as priority service outages.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight timeframes and manage competing priorities while remaining resilient under pressure.
- Experience working in the health sector or other Government body preferred.
