**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

Our Sector Digital Channels team are working to expand and improve the digital health landscape in Aotearoa. We are the digital transformation partners enabling modern technology solutions that improve the people and whānau experience through equitable access to varying models of care.

We are the change agent for national programmes and work with our customers and partners to enable equitable access through both digital self-service and assisted channels and to reduce pressure on the workforce through automation and integration. We are product focused and leverage modern platforms, technologies and ways of working to deliver quality, sustainable and cost-effective products and services.

We take pride in leading change that will provide equitable digital solutions for the health of Aotearoa.

**Mōu | About you**

As an Integration Solution Architect you are a member of the Sector Digital Channels team that has the collective accountability for maintaining and enhancing technology services and implementing and supporting Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora priorities.

You will work primarily with the project delivery product teams to deliver high quality integration specifications and solution architecture designs. You will provide oversight, enabling initiatives to be delivered successfully, complying with the standards and methodologies established by the Enterprise and Domain Architects and the Standards team. You will be responsible for creating the designs for initiatives and providing project oversight throughout the build and implementation phases.

**Ka kawea e koe | You will bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of modern Integration architecture and patterns.
- A good working understanding of the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources [FHIR] standard.
- Relevant industry certifications both technically and architecturally focused which help support your role.
- Solution Architecture experience 3+ years.
- Strong written and oral communications skills around creating clear and concise solution options papers, solution discussion papers and solution designs and communication these to core stakeholders (e.g. business, programmes and architecture governance groups) to gain endorsement.
- Proven track record of establishing and growing positive and enduring relationships across a range of stakeholder groups.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguity and identify and set direction.
- Experience educating, teaching, and mentoring on complex technical topics.
- Experience working in an Agile methodology (e.g., Scrum).
- Knowledge of the Health Sector and Government is preferred but not essential.
