**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a capable and efficient Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team on a part-time (25 hours per week) basis.

Based in our Head Office in Christchurch and reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, this position plays a key role in ensuring that financial transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner to enable our suppliers to be paid on time.

**What You'll Do**
- Process invoices for inventory, suppliers, and freight in an accurate, timely manner.
- Liaise in a professional manner with suppliers regarding any aspect of their account, including any areas of dispute which may cause the payment to be withheld.
- Prepare and process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payments for our New Zealand and Asia-Pacific regions.
- Prepare month / year end reconciliations.

**What You'll Bring**:
We are looking for someone who has a high level of attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. You should be comfortable dealing with suppliers in a professional manner on behalf of the company, be familiar with Microsoft Office packages including excel, and understand accrual accounting and account reconciliation.

Previous experience with a fully integrated computerised accounting system would be beneficial.
