With our head office based in Christchurch and depots in Cromwell and Tawa, we are responsible for constructing and maintaining distribution electricity reticulation, substations and protection across these locations. **Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About the role**

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the Accounts Payable roles forms a key part of our Finance Team. This role is shared with two other Accounts Payable team members and core responsibility is to ensure the effective and efficient performance of the AP function. In turn, you will be supportive by a friendly and supportive team.

This role is a fixed term nature for six months at four days a week.

Responsibilities for this role include:

- Matching, verifying, coding and processing of invoices
- Reconciliation of Vendor Statements and resolving variances
- Payment of Vendors
- Processing credit notes
- Coordinating of invoices using robotic software
- Assisting as a backup to other Accounts Payable team members
- Ensure concerns are identified and investigated with appropriate action taken

**Essential**
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position
- Strong numeracy and reconciliation skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge and experience using a similar finance ERP system
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Outlook
- A strong work ethic, motivation and professionalism

**Beneficial**

- Experience using UI Path (robotic software)
