Āu Mahi | What You Will Do


The role of Accounts Payable Officer is to calculate, process and reconcile invoices and payments to creditors, check and process employee reimbursement claims and make scholarship payments.

You will also be undertaking data entry into our Kofax system along with administrative duties such as reconciling accounts and ensuring payment related procedures and templates are updated and fit for purpose for creditors, staff and students, ensuring effective and accurate payment processing.


Mōu | Who You Are

You have experience in an accounts payable or accounting environment and have experience using financial systems (exposure to Oracle preferred).

You have knowledge of GST, relevant legislation, and a precision with figures and calculations.


As you will work with university creditors, staff and students, it's important you are customer focused and able to work in an effective manner to solve problems.

You will be part of our Accounts Services team that sits within the wider Financial Services team.


The purpose of our Financial Services team is to provide central procurement, accounting, business insight, advice and processing of financial transactions.
