We sell to and service the Civil, Forestry, Construction, mining and Marine sectors across all of New Zealand.


TDX is the distributor of leading global brands including Volvo, Yanmar, Shell Lubricants, Kohler Generators, Perkins Engines and Allison Transmissions.

The role:


We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable - Overseas and CSA in a 4 month fixed term contract, covering leave.

This will include a 4 week hand over period.


This position is based in our head office in Hornby where you will be working alongside our full accounts and admin team, reporting into the Administration Manager.


Responsibilities include:

Accounting Duties - Overseas Invoices (50 to 60 Overseas Suppliers)

  • Enter and process all overseas shipments and invoices
  • Process Kohler petrol warranty credits.
  • Enter all Overseas Payments and follow up missing invoices and prepare monthly reconciliations of AX to Statements.
  • Enter all payments with invoices not entered to Prepaid Vendor Account and reconcile GL
Prepaid GL Account) monthly

  • At month end prepare and calculate FX Rates
  • Prepare Balances due spreadsheet for Accounting Assistant to make Payments
  • Maintain G/L 6402 (Prepaid Expenses non NZ$ currency) and 6813 (Overseas AP
  • Clearing Account

Accounting Duties - CSA Invoicing (380 to 400 invoices processed a month)

  • Invoice Caretrack hours provided by Yanmar and Caretrack system
  • Liaise with Customers to supply monthly hours directly and PO's and then invoice
  • Answer any queries from customers

We are ideally looking for:

  • 2 years minimum Accounts Payable experience dealing with high volume
  • Experience working with foreign exchange/offshore AP invoices
  • Experience with General ledger reconciliations
  • Experience with invoice processing at a high volume, with excellent attention to detail
  • Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Works both independently and cooperatively in a team
  • Can use initiative, follow instructions accurately and seek assistance as required
  • Excellent customer service skills to exceed customer expectations
  • Familiar with MS Office suite, ie medium Excel skills, Word.
