**About the College**

The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners is the professional body and postgraduate educational provider for General Practitioners (GPs) and Rural Hospital Medicine Practitioners.

The College aims to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequities for all people in Aotearoa. They do this by setting and maintaining education and quality standards, and supporting their members to provide competent, equitable care to their patients.

This professional body and education provider supports approximately 5,500 specialist GPs working in 1,000 general practices around the country.

**About this role**

The College is in a period of transformation, and the Head of Corporate Services as part of the Executive team, will be one of the main drivers to ensure the College is best positioned to support the training and ongoing education of Aotearoa’s GP workforce. This will be achieved through creating a contemporary and sustainable workplace for the College and its members.

As the Head of Corporate Services your role will ensure the successful strategic and operational delivery of efficient shared services. Your key accountabilities will be across the diverse functions of Human Resources, Finance, ICT, Project, Compliance, Contract and Office Management functions.

Key to your success in this pivotal senior role will be developing a high-performance Corporate Services team through creating a culture of collaboration with a continuous focus on improvement.
