As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in leading the finance team and providing financial analysis and guidance to management.

**What you'll do**:
As the Head of Finance at Sharesies, you will be responsible for leading a team of Corporate Accountants and Administrators. You will manage all day-to-day operations of the Finance function at Sharesies, ensuring integrity of financial systems and processes. Your role will involve overseeing financial requirement planning for key projects, managing the preparation of statutory accounts, reviewing monthly financials, contributing to budgeting strategies, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and more. This role requires someone who is not only skilled in finance but also has a passion for change and growth.
- Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and people management to the Finance team
- Support the Chief Commercial and Financial Officer and CEOs with financial analysis and guidance
- Manage the preparation of statutory accounts and associated audit requirements for all Sharesies Group entities
- Oversee financial requirement planning for key projects
- Review monthly financials including commentary and analysis of performance
- Ensure integrity of the financial systems and processes
- Oversee all aspects of Sharesies' global corporate tax obligations across Australia and NZ
- Contribute to the budgeting, strategy and planning process
- Identify opportunities for cost saving and implement solutions

**What you bring**:

- Experience leading the Finance Operations of an entity
- Experience leading teams
- CA, CFA or equivalent qualification
- Experience with IFRS, consolidation and financial statement preparation
- Experience with tax and other regulatory compliance
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Previous experience in process improvement and making recommendations
