Although they are very big shoes to fill, Cathedral Grammar is looking for their next talented Business Manager to join the leadership team, to step in, and take the school into the future. **About the opportunity**

The Business Manager reports directly to the Principal, supports the Board of Trustees, and is part of the senior leadership team. Managing an Accounts Administrator, the school offers well developed systems and processes. The overarching responsibilities of the Business Manager span across the functional areas of, finance, business administration, project and facilities management, and health and safety.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the ongoing success and management of the school. In doing this you will:

- Work authentically alongside the Principal and senior leadership team to execute strategies that will positively impact on the school.
- Manage, and provide oversight of all financial activities and associated reporting.
- Act as Project Manager for construction and development projects as required.
- Manage the schools’ facilities and compliance requirements.
- Provide high level administrative support to ensure school services are efficiently provided.
- Act as Board Secretary to the Board of Trustees and nominated sub committees.

**About you**

To be successful in this senior role you will hold a relevant qualification, experience working within a school/academic setting would also be desirable. You will demonstrate a depth and breadth of financial acumen, along with the capability to manage key business functions. Your drive to make a positive impact in this position, will be reflected in your past successes, your focus on continuous improvement, and your strategic insight into the wider operations of the school.

A natural people person, you can effectively connect and engage with internal and external stakeholders - including students of primary school age. You will enjoy working within a school environment, actively engaging with students, staff, and the wider community. You will have a strong alignment with the school’s Anglican character, values and philosophies.
