About the role
Tāmaki Makaurau Intelligence provides intelligence support to Auckland City, Counties Manukau and Waitematā Districts.
This position leads the Analytical and Operational Intelligence team comprising 57 staff.

The position will suit someone who can lead, motivate and develop a high performing team. You will be innovative in your thinking and your enthusiasm and interpersonal skills will be able to develop high trust and effective relationships with our people, our leaders, key stakeholders and partner agencies.

- Lead, advise and influence decision making on key issues
- Build collaborative, open and trusting relationships
- Develop and embed continuous improvement across intelligence

**Additional Information**:

- Must have the ability to obtain and retain Top Secret Security Clearance
- A non-core Children’s Worker security check is required
- Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a Clifton Strengths assessment which will be used as a selection tool

This role is set at Leader/Manager level, this means your key purpose is “to lead tactics for Our Business and enable people to deliver them”.
