The Government Communications Security Bureau protects and enhances New Zealand's security and wellbeing by providing intelligence to key Government decision makers. Within GCSB, the intelligence function is led by the Intelligence Directorate, and we are seeking a new Tier 4 Manager to oversee the provision of services crucial to the delivery of high impact intelligence.
We are looking for a talented, capable leader that will ensure GCSB's intelligence activities can operate with appropriate authorisations and policy guidance. As Manager, you will be adept at leading in complex environments and be experienced managing competing stakeholder priorities.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Demonstrate effective, proven people leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support professional development of technical experts;
- Have a sound understanding of the authorising framework and policies governing intelligence in New Zealand, particularly for Signals Intelligence;
- Be an experienced, successful intelligence professional with current knowledge of the New Zealand intelligence community; and

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
