About the role
Tāmaki Makaurau (TM) Intelligence supports New Zealand Police leaders and officers to prevent crime and harm through exceptional policing. Our mahi is used to inform deployment of resources, understand the criminal environment and crime problems, and facilitate evidence-based action and prevention.

You will need to work with people from a wide range of internal and external workgroups and agencies. Communication is key as you will be presenting analysis through written reporting and verbal briefings to a range of audiences. Time will not always be your friend.

- Champion diverse worldviews, different perspectives, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, identifying opportunities to reflect these in Intelligence products.
- Able to use technology but equally adapt to non-technical solutions in the field.
