Join our HR team as we continue our transformation journey, driving continuous improvement and embarking on exciting territory with new initiatives and technology enhancements. The purpose of this role is to partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement commercially relevant strategic OD initiatives across Restaurant Brands that drive improved performance and culture.

Reporting to the General Manager People & Capability, you will lead a broad spectrum of OD programmes and initiatives, with a focus on Leadership and Culture, Inclusion and Diversity, as well as the Talent and Capability portfolios. This is a hands-on role that requires understanding of the business, its strategic needs, effective stakeholder relationship management, building alignment and development solutions to close operational gaps.

Key to the success of this role will be someone who can build relationships across the organisation quickly and continue to implement and drive our OD strategy. You will need to be proactive, organised and a stickler for detail.

**Specific responsibilities for this role include**:

- Responsible for executing all organisational development strategies in collaboration with the GM People and Capability and the wider People Team
- Lead, design and deliver key programmes of work and projects to support the achievement of the People Strategy
- Lead the approach for measuring and improving our employee experience and engagement across the Division, enabling us to seek and act on regular feedback from our people
- Understand the key drivers of engagement for Restaurant Brands NZ and determine the actions to support an increase in engagement
- Work in partnership with Operations and the relevant Area Coaches/Trainers, etc., to co-ordinate the development of Training Programmes that address skill gaps, enable and support operational efficiencies
- Lead the attainment of Qualifications/Training Completions across the business
- Utilise data, diagnostics, evaluation and HR metrics to provide relevant analysis and reporting, extracting meaningful insights/ROI to enhance organisational effectiveness and efficiencies
- Identify opportunities to simplify our people processes and create efficiencies in how we work, leverage technology wherever possible to provide a positive user experience and deliver business outcomes that support simple and easy to use people processes.

**Skills and Experience required**:

- A degree in HR, management, business, organisational psychology or a related discipline is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Organisational Development leadership role
- A proven track record in initiating and sustaining various OD programmes over 5-10 years, with measurable results
- Proven experience in leading a team and working through others
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business, particularly with operational stakeholders
- Commercially astute with strong business acumen and decision-making skills
- Takes a customer centric approach in delivering initiatives that support the organisation’s purpose
- Highly resilient with strong learning agility and problem-solving skills to thrive in a fast-paced changing environment, requiring hands-on interventions
- Effective at delivering multiple projects successfully within complex and de-centralised business environments.
