**The Role details**:
You will take the lead in crafting, developing, and sustaining sophisticated solutions on the Salesforce platform, finely tuned to cater to the distinct demands of the Energy and Utilities sector. Your role involves not only imparting knowledge but also guiding and mentoring fellow developers across diverse teams. Your profound expertise in Salesforce, particularly in industry-specific solutions (such as Energy & Utilities Cloud), coupled with your extensive experience in Salesforce development, will empower you to steer the development team with technical direction, mentorship, and strategic insights.
- Successful delivery of software solutions from your team to customers.
- Feedback received on the quality and volume of your technical outputs from your team, technical reviewers, Leads, and Managers.
- Feedback from individuals you are guiding.
- Proficiently implementing enhancements to practices and processes.
- Actively engage in all facets of Agile software development, including:

- Timely and dependable participation in team meetings, including daily stand-ups.
- Transparent communication about your progress since the previous stand-up and your plans for the day.
- Effective communication of any obstacles or hurdles to your team.
- Consistent input and involvement during task planning sessions.
- Ensuring that task planning aligns effectively with the actual tasks needed to complete a story, ensuring synchronization with the task board.
- Playing an active role in refining the backlog.
- Placing emphasis on collaborative teamwork, fostering constructive relationships with team members and colleagues throughout the organization.

**The Role Responsibilities**:

- Design and execute solutions within the Energy and Utilities Cloud to optimize operational workflows, elevate customer interactions, and drive digital transformation across the energy and utilities domain.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and architects to gather requirements, shape technical strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Spearhead innovation by staying attuned to the latest developments on the Salesforce platform, emerging technologies, and industry trends, leveraging them to enrich system capabilities.
- Take charge of guiding the development team in conceiving, constructing, and upholding tailored Salesforce solutions employing OmniStudio, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and pertinent technologies.
- Undertake performance enhancements, troubleshooting, and debugging of Salesforce solutions to guarantee scalability, stability, and optimal functionality.
- Collaborate harmoniously with cross-functional teams, encompassing administrators, architects, and business analysts, to refine processes, heighten efficiency, and realize seamless system integrations.
- Evaluate and propose new tools, frameworks, and technologies to augment the development process, system performance, and overall team efficiency.
- Deliver internal and external customer training and support.
- Undertake testing and generate automated tests for software.
- Document code and product features comprehensively.
- Engage in planning, stand-ups, estimations, retrospectives, and backlog refinement as appropriate.
- Commit to personal learning and development to sustain and advance your performance over time.

**Your experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Proven track record as a Salesforce Developer, specializing in the Energy and Utilities Cloud (or equivalent sector) and intricate Salesforce solutions.
- Mastery of OmniStudio, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and other pertinent technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Comprehensive grasp of energy and utilities industry workflows, encompassing customer data management, billing, metering, demand response, and associated regulatory compliance.
- History of leading and mentoring development teams, furnishing technical guidance, and propelling optimal practices in Salesforce development.
- Robust aptitude for analysis and problem resolution, adept at dissecting intricate requirements, designing scalable solutions, and proficiently addressing challenges.
- Outstanding communication and collaborative proficiencies, equipped to seamlessly engage stakeholders of all tiers, influence technical verdicts, and orchestrate productive dialogues.
