**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

Are you ready for a new challenge? The Faculty of Education and Social Work are looking for someone to fulfil the roles of both Doctoral Research Coordinator and Sub-Doctoral Research Coordinator. Your time will be split between these two **permanent part-time (0.5 FTE) **roles, therefore **1 FTE** combined.

The Sub-Doctoral Research Coordinator is responsible for supporting Postgraduate students undertaking research (30 Points and above) by supporting processes associated with sub-doctoral research.

These will be varied roles where you will have exposure across student recruitment and processes within the faculty including Supervision related matters, Examination support, admissions, onboarding, orientation and more.

**Qualifications**:
**He kōrero mōu | About you**

Confident in analysing data from a variety of sources, you have demonstrated experience in compacting and articulating that back to senior leaders, in a way that supports decision making.

As a sub-Doctoral Research Coordinator, you will be the initial point of contact for research postgraduate students (30 points and above) as well as manage the examination process for the 30points+ research components. You will be exceptionally organised and able to navigate the university systems to provide a seamless service and advice to students and staff.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- **Relationship Management & Customer Service -** Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills through relationship management, advocacy and negotiation either within the faculty or the University.
- **Continuous Improvement -**Proactively looking for ways to** **improve the services that are provided to students via faculties, the School of Graduate Studies, online content and Student Experience Centre and Student Hubs
